Real Techniques Bold Metals Essentials

Christmas gift sets are everywhere and I don't know about you but I get completely sucked into the deals, offers and sets around and end up buying them for myself. That's exactly what happened with this! The Real Techniques Bold Metal Essentials collection comes with 3 brushes and a clutch to keep them in all for the heavy price tag of £64 but I picked this up when it was on offer for £30. The offer is no longer available online but my local store still have lots of them on the offer so if you fancy this set or know a beauty lover who would love this as a gift it's worth checking your local store.

The three brushes that are in the set are the tapered brush, oval shadow brush and the angled powder brush with the angled powder brush is exclusive to the set. The tapered brush is great for highlight and sculpt, the oval shadow brush is perfect for blending and applying eye shadows and the angled powder brush is so big ad fluffy perfect for powdering your face and the angled cut is great for contouring the face. I don't care much for the clutch I bought the set for the brushes but the clutch will be nice for protecting brushes on the go however large brush is slightly too big for the clutch. The Real Techniques Bold Metals Essentials makes a perfect gift for the beauty obsessive in your life.

Real Techniques | Sculpting Set

The latest set from Real Techniques is perfect for people who like to sculpt and highlight their face, at just over £20 the sculpting set contains three brushes, two of which are exclusive to the set.  If you want to create killer contouring or want to expand your makeup brush collection without breaking the bank then the Real Techniques Sculpting Set is for you. The three brushes you get are the sculpting brush, the fan brush and the setting brush, all three brushes are instantly recognisable as Real Techniques and great quality like you expect from Real Techniques.

The Sculpting Brush is designed to slot under your cheekbones and help to easily contour your face, the brush has a wide angle head that is dense yet soft and works great with powders. It fits nicely under my cheekbones and is great at applying product as well as blended it out so you're left with a natural looking contour. The Fan Brush is large fan shaped brush that I love to use to apply highlighter over the top of my cheekbones, it picks up powders well and is great for sweeping off any excess powder. The Setting Brush is small tapered brush that will come in handy for so many things I love it for applying and setting my under eye concealer but it'll come in handy for lots of different things like blending out any hard lines and edges.

Real Techniques offers some of the best affordable brushes you can pick up on the high street and I'm a huge fan of their collections. This latest collection offers 3 brilliant brushes at a reasonable and affordable price, for just over £20 you can grab this set when the sculpting brush alone will cost you around £10, Real Techniques have done it again! The Real Techniques Sculpting Set retails at £20.99

eBay Bargian Brushes

Last week I posted about some bargains I've recently bought - you can read that post here - and in that post I mentioned these make up brushes that I bought from eBay for £6.85 and not only is it a complete steal getting £10 makeup brushes for under a tenner you also get free delivery. You get a set of 10 makeup brushes, 5 face brushes and 5 eye brushes and they are extremely versatile one of the eye brushes is great for concealer. The brushes have a wooden handle and have really soft bristles, I've not used all them yet but the ones I have used have blended the products like a dream. You get such a variety of use from the brushes and I can see me getting a lot of use from them.

You can shop this set of make up brushes on eBay here.
